How much do I need?
Acoustic engineering is good value! We helped a school that was told by an acoustic foam supplier how much to use. The acoustic calculations for the classroom and came up with 1/3 of that amount. They would have wasted lots of money AND it would have been too dead. As it stands they are very happy. NB Acoustic panels must have compliance to the Building Code of Australia for Fire Hazard Safety (BCA C1.10)

External Noise
Soundproofing
External noise must be reduced on the way in. Adding absorption in the room will make very little difference. The room needs to be sealed very well - doors, windows, vents etc. will all let noise “leak” in.
